YHC showed up to Smokehouse a little early this am to stage a few things for the workout. Upon returning to the flag, YHC was pleased to see an FNG amongst the PAX. Hopefully the workout was challenging enough to keep him coming back for more.

The Thang:
Count off into four groups for Four Corners around the track.
Corner 1- 20 reps of any combo of Pull-ups, Dips, or Australian Pull-ups.
Corner 2- Hand Release Merkins x20
Corner 3- Proper Form Burpees (with a squat) x20
Corner 4- Block Squats (holding block in front of you) x20
Run the long sides and do anything but run or walk the short sides. Most PAX opted for Bear Crawls, Lunges, or a combo of the two.
Rinse and repeat til 5:35
Mosey to Hite Hill
Elevens on the hill. Start with LBC’s x10, run up hill, FK’s (two count) x 1.
Mosey back to the Shovelflag

So our FNG is a soon to be newlywed and with the Royal Wedding dominating headlines this past weekend we chose the obvious name for the new PAX- Dutchess. Alas, the name was a little too obvious, as Crypt had chosen it for their FNG too. So being a gentleman, and out of respect for the distinguished AO, YHC conceded the name to them (even though we start 15 minutes earlier so we technically came up with the name first) and we began the process of choosing a new name for our FNG through our DM board. The results are in, and Parker Evans shall henceforth be known to the PAX as Gaga (cause of some game he played with his elementary PE students). Dutchess, you will be missed. You’re welcome Crypt.
