Dust Storm

The night before YHC told everyone to bring a headlamp. It was time to explore new territory at Ambush. 13 PAX did just that. The only thing that was missing was a monkey named Boots and a singing map. Lucky we didn’t run into Swiper. After the 9 SL PAX made it back the 1 minutes warning was given.

Weather: 62º

COP / The Thang:
SSH x 5 IC (Copy and past from PW)

Mosey to the block pile.  Grab a block and head to the baseball field.
TTT x 15 IC
WM x 15 IC

Tried something new. Played the song “Up Down” by Florida Georgia Line. The plan is to hold a low plank or low merkin. Every time he sings ‘Up Down’ do just that. Only could do about 1 minute of that.

Mosey to the secret pig pen on the edge of the woods:
Dips x 25 OYC
Dips x 20 OYC
Dips x 15 OYC
Dips x 10 OYC
Dips x 5 OYC

Now it was time to explore. A trail through the woods lead us to the archery range. There we did 11’s in the dry, dusty and ant filled field. Burpees on one side and block thruster on the other. To add to the misery we commuted to and from via block bear crawls. LOTS of mumble chatter and complaining ensued. Next was mosey around the perimeter of the field. The grass was tall and half the PAX were organizing a mutiny. YHC was hearing comments like “you know who would have made a good AOQ” and “I bet CAT doesn’t do stupid stuff like this.” After regrouping at the far end of the field with some SSH and Peter Parkers time was called and the 5 minutes mosey back the the block pile and SF began. Talk of a mutiny subsided and was replaced with fist bumps and jubilation.

Devo: With all joking aside it is truly an honor to be a part of this thing we call F3. The men that I surround myself with continue to build me up not only physically but spiritual. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me lead you guys in the coming months.

It’s easy to get motivated when you’re passionate about something but when passion starts to fade so does motivation. The best cure for that is accountability. Not only is that important in our walk with Christ but also defeating the fartsack each morning. To help with accountability each month one person will be responsible for posting the shovel flag. This month that person is Lumbergh.
