#Legion Endures The Lines At Target

7 men posted in the gloom Thursday morning. 6 finished. No, we didn’t leave a man behind and no he did not die, he had to leave early. Anywho, in case you did not know, Legion is an hour long. Also, if you did not know, the men of Legion are in dang good shape. Since Battle splits Qs over an hour I’m confident when I say that Legion presents the toughest test for a Q in Columbia. The challenge is to fill an hour with the hard things for these guys. Ain’t easy and I’m smoked.

Conditions: Dead on 32 degrees. Clear. Dry, thank goodness.

From the drop run straight out the parking lot and run a block.
20 merkins OYO
Run another block.
20 squats OYO
Run down to Garners Ferry and across. Stop in Eric’s San Jose parking lot, sniff the grease trap #yummy, and put feet on the high curb at the front of the restaurant in front of the little tiny one horse carousel thingy that your mother would not let you touch because germs.

Run to the Target shopping center parking lot.

Line up on the end of the parking lot at Pelham Drive facing the opposite side of the lot where Jimmy John’s is located.

There are 12 double rows of parking spaces in this lot which is 727 feet long (240 yards or EXACTLY two football fields including end zones…now you know).

Round 1: Run the full length of the lot stopping at every parking row line (every 22 yards) and do 5 merkins.
That’s 24 stops over 400 yards, 120 merkins total.
Round 2: Same deal but with 5 squats.
That’s 24 stops over 400 yards, 120 squats total.
Round 3: Same deal but fast and furious with 1 burpee at each stop.
That’s 24 stops over 400 fast and furious yards, 24 burpees total.
