55 Seconds of Pain, Rinsed and Repeated at #The Castle

8 PAX arrived at The Castle wondering what in the h@#! Lambchop had planned for us. Gear was scattered across the COP and music was blaring.

Conditions – 50 and gloomy

The Thang:

There was a disclaimer, and the warm-up consisted of the PAX gathering the gear and Cusaking it to the tennis courts, where Lambchop had 12 pain stations ready for us. Each station was AMRAP for 55 seconds followed by 15 seconds of rest, while cardio inspired tunes were thumping.

  • Station 1: Suicides
  • Station 2: Merkins (using the As Seen on TV Perfect Push-Up handles)
  • Station 3: Iron Crosses
  • Station 4: Sprints attached to a Parachute (YHC needed the belt extender after following Turncoat and the other svelte PAX)
  • Station 5: LBCs
  • Station 6: Jump Rope
  • Station 7: Shoulder Press (25 lb. plate)
  • Station 8: Lunges (two 15 lb. weights)
  • Station 9: Curls (two 20 lb. weights)
  • Station 10: Mountain Climbers
  • Station 11: Tricep Dips
  • Station 12: Squats (25 lb. plate)

This workout had great variety and it didn’t take long to get gassed on the 55 second AMRAPs. The PAX enjoyed it and appreciated the planning that went into it.
