Weather: mid 30s, dry, not too breezy
As yhc arrived at the AO this morning, I realized I had left my weinke at home. I recalled the basic plan for the workout but the exercises would likely change as a result.
At 5 am disclaimer was given, a prayer said and the group moseyed to the teacher’s lot for warm-up.
Warm-up consisted of SSH, WM, TTT, LBAC forward & reverse, slow mo mercan & slow mo squat. All 10 ic
Group moseyed to the block pile to retrieve a block then headed to the basketball court and lined up on the baseline nearest the playground. Some Christmas tunes were started along with a wod timer at 5 min intervals. Pax partnered up and one performed a specified exercise at the baseline while the other performed 20 reps of another exercise at the picnic tables. Exercises were;
Block curl and or shoulder press – step ups
Block mercan – calf raises
Block burpee – lap around picnic shelter
BBSUS – step ups
Block Squats – calf raises
With enough time for nearly another round the group was poled to see which set would be repeated. Decsion was made to start back at the top, curls/shoulder press – step ups
Blocks were returned and the group mosey back to the flag with just enough time for a single set of boat canoe
