12 pax posted in the #gloom at good ‘ol Thunder for a little #kottersQ from yours truly. A muggy 60 degree morning set the stage for a full body beatdown featuring 3 ladders and 3 miles of action. Many of the #OG were on hand for a fun morning on the streets of Shandon.
Conditions: 60 degrees, muggy
The Thang:
Parking Lot
- SSH – 20 (4ct)
- IW – 20 (4ct)
Depart Parking Lot onto King. Left on Wheat. Stop just past the park
- Squats – 15 (4ct)
Continue moseying up Wheat. Stop at Terrace Way
- Flutter Kicks – 20 (4ct)
Turn right and ride the Terrace Way hill all the way down to Blossom. Cross Blossom and gather at the base of Hilton
Ladder 1
- Run to the top – 20 merkins
- Run to the bottom – 20 CDD
- Rinse & Repeat dropping 5 reps each round. Stop at 5 reps (4 total rounds)
- Plank while waiting on the 6
Mosey up Blossom. Gather at the base of Heidt
Ladder 2
- Run to the top – 20 Jump Squats
- Run to the bottom – 10 Jump Lunges Each Leg
- Rinse & Repeat dropping 5 reps at the top each round (and to 5 reps at the bottom final round) – (4 total rounds)
- Plank while waiting on the 6
Mosey up Blossom. Gather at the base of Meadow
Ladder 3
- Run to the top – 20 Solo Iron Cross
- Run to the bottom – 20 Russian Twists (count 1 side only)
- Rinse & Repeat dropping 5 reps each round and stopping at 5 (4 total rounds)
- Plank while waiting on the 6
The Q realizes we’re out of time and will have to cut Ladder 4 which would have featured Queen St and burpees. #Jailbreak back through Emily Douglas Park to the AO.
