Had the priviledge of facilitating my oldests basketball practice. I pointed out that at the end of games, especially when they’re down, they act tired and down. I told them it doesn’t matter as much as to what they can do fresh, but what can they do when they’re tired, down, hurt, etc. How deep can they dig to keep on fighting.
However, how great is it that our God doesn’t care if we’re fresh or not. Our God doesn’t care how we come to him, just wants us to desire him and seek him.
Matthew 11:28-30 – “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and for you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light”
