9 PAX beat the fartsack and ventured out to Turning Point. YHC arrived promptly at 5am to see the group finishing the disclaimer and prayer and beginning the workout. Not sure how that happen…

The THANG:

Mosey to back parking lot for COP all IC x 10- SSH, Imperial Walkers TTT, Arm Circles front and back, Slow mo squats
Mosey to block pile and grab a cinder block. Some groaning began at this point as the PAX got their shoes a little damp.
Once with the block the PAX went to the inline (incorrectly known as the baseline) and planked and awaited instruction.
- Murder bunnies to first tree (about 25 yards), 10 block merkins, murder bunnies back
- John Cusack to first tree, 10 curls, lunge to second tree, plank
- Leave block and mosey to base of hill
- Bear crawl up hill, 5 burpees, then sit on the wall
- Head to inline of BB court, suicide except when coming back to inline you have to backpedal
- Suicide but only by side to side slide. At that point we were at the peak of the workout and we did all the exercises in reverse.
- Head to inline of BB court, suicide except when coming back to inline you have to backpedal
- Sit on wall, (YHC forgot about the 5 burpees and no PAX corrected me), crawl bear down hill and mosey to block to plank
- Lunge from second tree to first, then 10 curls for the girls then Cusack to inline.
- Murder bunnies to first tree (about 25 yards), 10 block merkins, murder bunnies back
Put the block up and mosey back toward the shovel flag for 6 min of Mary.

King Nebuchadnezzar, furious with the Jerusalem exiles, wants to throw them into the fire… heated to a point that the guards escorting them to the fire were killed. You probably know the story- the three guys were completely unharmed. But what struck me is verse 18… we serve a God capable of moving mountains, of rescuing someone from a fiery furnace, nothing is impossible for God… yet on this earth… there are some things we WANT, we feel like we NEED, that we DESERVE… and God doesn’t deliver as we see fit and convenient. But that doesn’t mean He isn’t working. That doesn’t mean we should lose our HOPE, that doesn’t mean we should question God…. “Even if” He doesn’t…. we will not veer away from our God.
